This site will allow you, whether you are a student or proctor, to register with Old Dominion University Office of Distant Learning.
NOTE: Exams cannot be distributed until a student has registered a proctor and that person has confirmed they will be able to proctor an exam.
Proctors cannot be related to the student, nor can they be current students themselves, either at ODU or any other college.

Students are responsible for any and all administrative fees such as those required for testing center fees or postage.
By the end of the first week of your course, if the professor plans to give in-class exams, you should select a proctor. Before you complete this registration, confirm with your potential proctor that they are willing to proctor your exams. Provide your proctor your ODU email then register him/her using the steps below:
Important You must provide your proctor with a link to this web site, so that the proctor can also register with Distance Learning. This information will also be sent to the student at their ODU email address.
Your proctor WILL NOT receive your exam until both you and your proctor are registered and confirmed for this semester. When the proctor completes his/her registration, you will be notified by ODU email.
If you need to change your proctor you are responsible for updating any changes that will impact the administration of an exam. To update a proctor, complete the proctor registration described above and choose "Change of Proctor" at the top of the proctor registration form
The criteria to be an exam proctor is defined above, be sure you meet the criteria before completing this registration.
For a student to receive his/her exam, you must be registered with Distance Learning. No exams will be distributed without your registration and confirmation.
To confirm you are willing to proctor an exam:
