Description
Clearly, video is a potent medium for today's learners. When students create and post videos for sharing and reflection, they are developing technical and communication skills inherent to what many are calling a new vision of literacy. The intertwining of new and traditional literacy skills in video creation and sharing is a powerful combination for student learning. One might even argue that the process of creating and sharing a video could be worth a million words. Four faculty from the colleges of Education and Arts and Letters provide digital camera, headsets, tripods and instruction to students to create video stories, documentaries, and arguments.
