Chris has worked as an instructional designer for 14 years and worked at ODU's Center for Teaching and Learning since 2013. She received her MSEd from ODU in 2005 and her PhD in Education from ODU in 2010. Her current research interests include cooperative and collaborative learning in hybrid and online environments, the community of inquiry model, service learning, and learning with augmented reality. She has presented at numerous conferences and most recently had a chapter published in Akyol and Garrison’s, Educational Communities of Inquiry: Theoretical Framework, Research and Practice.
