Dr. Jim Bellamy – I have been at Old Dominion for four years; I have many years of teaching experience, especially in distance education.  I have been teaching online for about 20 years. I worked for many years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist before entering academia.  I began my academic career as an Instructor in Nuclear Medicine Technology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  While there I completed an MPH with a concentration in Health Policy and Management.  I also completed a Ph.D. in Health Systems and Services with an emphasis in Public Health Systems and Services.

My research interests include emergency preparedness and public health workforce development.
