About the Event

This 90‑minute, hands‑on training introduces key digital accessibility best practices for instructional content. The first 45 minutes cover practical guidance on topics such as descriptive links, alt text, captions and transcripts, accessible slide design (PowerPoint & Google Slides), and accessibility tools, including Grackle, TidyUP, and YuJa. The remaining 45 minutes provide an optional open work session where participants can apply what they’ve learned to their own courses, ask questions, and receive individualized support from instructional technologists.
