About the Event

Research indicates that clear grading criteria and multi-modal feedback significantly improve student performance and metacognition. This workshop provides a technical deep dive into the Rubric tool and SpeedGrader to optimize your evaluation process. We will focus on Canvas tools that deliver impactful feedback without increasing your overall workload. By the end of this hands-on session, you will learn how to build and attach rubrics to assignments and discussions to ensure transparent, consistent grading. You will leave this session with a completed rubric and a mastery of the SpeedGrader interface.
