Checking your Computer
Browser Plug-in Check
This test will check your web browser for various plug-ins that may be required to view course content. Before you run the test, please make sure that your browser has Javascript enabled. Instructions on how to enable javascript for your Internet browser are available.

System Requirements
To prevent possible problems when viewing course content, your computer must meet the following requirements:

PC users | Mac users |
| Operating System: | Windows 98, Windows 2000 or Windows XP | OS 9.2, OS X.1 or OS X.2 |
| Processor: | Pentium II or higher Processor speed of 233 MHz or higher. |
G3 or higher |
| Memory/RAM: | Minimum of 64 MB RAM. | |
| Display: | 800 x 600 pixel resolution @ 256 colors | |
| Internet Connection: | 56K modem A broadband connection is recommended (DSL, cable, etc.) |

| Web browser: | Internet Explorer 5 or higher or Netscape 4.77 or above. (Java and cookies must be enabled in your browser). | Internet Explorer 5 or higher or Netscape 4.77 or above. (Java and cookies must be enabled in your browser). |
| Other: | An e-mail account and a word processing software program. Anti-virus software is highly recommended. |
