Prerequisite: Getting Started with Blackboard or equivalent experience.
Explore the features of the Grade Center. Some topics covered include: working with Grade Center items (manual entry and automated), entering grades, linking grades to assignments, and integrating Bb Grade Center with Excel.

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Discuss briefly their methods of assessment and know how to engage the features of the Grade Center to calculate and display grades;
- Utilize the Grade Center for its potential to reduce workload for the Blackboard instructor and
- Provide current, accurate feedback to students about their standing in the class.
The overall goal of the workshop is to provide opportunities for participants to explore and practice grading options for course assignments, projects, assessments, etc. Instructors using Blackboard will be able to utilize the Grade Center in a way that provides current, accurate information and meaningful feedback to students and will be able to shift workload previously spent on manual management and calculation of grades to an automated system.
