| Step 1. |
| In the Control Panel, click Export Course |

| Click the Export Button |

| Step 3. |
| To export all content areas, click Content. Otherwise, select only the content areas you want to export. |

| Continue selecting the tools and settings you want to export. |

| Step 5. |
| When you are finished selecting content ares, tools, and settings to export, click Submit.
You will be prompted that an email will be sent when the export process is complete. |

| AFTER you receive the email from "bbadmin" that your export process is complete, return to the control panel and click Export Course again. |

| Step 8. |
| Now you will see a new export file to save to your local computer to use in another course or courses.
NOTE: The file name begins with "ExportFile" and contains the course ID, then ends with a date and time stamp showing the year, month, day, hour, minutes, and seconds. In this example, the export file was created for ECI 304 on March 7 at 7:28:04 in the morning. |

| Step 9. |
| Right-Click the link and select the option to Save the target.
Then browse to a location of your choice on your local computer to save the file for future use. |

| Step 10. |
| After you have saved the Export File you can click OK to return to the course site, or you can exit Blackboard. |
